A kettle sour is always a babysitting act – waiting for the microbes to party down to just the right pH before blowing the whistle, starting the kettle back to boil, and calling the whole thing off. With a cannon ball of passionfruit, pink guava, and tangerine added into the fermenter, this beer is inspired by packaging buddy Dave Fiskland’s favorite guns-out shirt for when the sun’s out. Drink up, kids; we’re on duty.

Can from Mid Columbia, Aug 2021. Golden yellow pour, rather clear, with a thin ring of white head. Guava is evident at first sniff along with some tropical fruit and tartness. Not overly sour, some basic tropical fruit and citrus.

12oz can. Clear medium golden pour with a thin wispy white ring funky light pale malt and weird cheesy aroma. Mild basic tartness and perhaps a touch of fruity orange and berry notes. Pretty plain.
