Oxidized aroma with malt, caramel, cardboard, a bit of chocolate, and fruitiness. Sweetish oxidized flavor with caramel, cardboard, some toast, and fruitiness. Medium-bodied.

Bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel aroma. Slightly roasted malty spicy caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel finish.

Clear but very dark brown beer. Neutral palate with a hint of dryness. Light spirity malt with bitter toffee. Fresh minerally finish. A crisp dark beer.

2008 Bottle at home. Pours dark brown with a shortlasting tan head. Nice drinkable scotch, surprisingly style typical for a christmas brew.

Bottle. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Sweet caramel and a bit fruity nose. Coffe and sweet toffe flavour with some grassy notes

Dunkler, nussig-herber Malzantrunk. Das vollmundige Malzaroma weist dabei milde Teilstücke auf, die aber jedes Mal von einer cremigen Röstnote geschlossen werden. Weich, süffig, die Intensität des Malzes zusammen mit der Süffigkeit gefällt zweifellos. Nussig, leider fallen die milden Malzlücken mit der Zeit auf. Das Bier bleibt dennoch voll und gelungen. 8/12/12/11/10/12

On tap at Akkurat. Dark brown with a medium tan creamy head. Dark bread, malt, nuts, caramel, chocolate and some spices. Very drinkable and pleasant beer to drink. Has aged with dignity.

Bottle (Stockholm Beer Festival 2010) - Dark brown with red tinges. Roasted aroma with dried fruit, caramel and spicy malt. Spicy, fruity and malty taste with roasted coffee and raisins.
