Cask @ Rat & Ratchet, Huddersfield. Clear brown coloured with a creamy head. Despite its colour there’s very little dark ale character, with a slightly chewy, bubble-gum sweetness dominating its taste. There’s some pale malts in its nose. It has a strength but this is not overbearing.
