Bottle 33cl.Clear medium to dark amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, brown sugar, over ripefruit, moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081129]

Bottle, 9.0% as Zelems Gildenbier Kerstbier 2007. OK refreshing aroma, hint of hops and sweet malts. Nice dark red brown colour. Small floaties. The flavour is nice and sweet, quite spicy, actually quite christmassy.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours almost clear golden deep amber with small yeast sediments. Roasted malty and yeasty overripe fruity aroma. Sweet, light metallic to bloody in initial flavour. Light spiced and with a mellow yeasty impression. Roasted malty into the finish alongside a mild acidic roasted flavour and bitterness.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy dark orangey amber with floating impurities and a small off-white head. Aroma of fruit and caramel. Medium body, notes of fruit and caramel - appears a little oxidized and tired. No actual bitterness. 291108

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of caramel, bread, and some spices. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of caramel as well as some notes spices, leading to a dry spicy finish.
