330ml bottle. Opalescent, auburn colour with small, creamy, fading, white head. Slightly nutty, caramel malty and minimally spicy aroma, a touch of chestnut, nougat. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel malty, minimally nutty and herbal, a touch of chestnut, nougat, allspice, "sweaty", almost cheesy overtones.
Watery texture, rather indifferent palate, fine, soft carbonation.
Weak and cautious, rather unspecific flavours - so-so.

Clear golden color with a white head that gives up a bit to fast. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Mostly caramel malty. Medium body and decent carbonation level. Easy to drink. Ok sweetness and a moderate bitterness. Caramel malt are dominating the flavor. Also a bit fruity. Plain easy drinkable heller bock would have been my suggestion if I had to make a choice.

Bottled (thanks Anna!). Ambery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, honey, mild spices and some bready notes. Also some mild rye. Flavour is rye bread, toffee, spices, ripe fruits and mild Xmas spiciness as well. Not that bad.

A very boring christmas beer. Very light in taste. Taste of a boring pilsner. No spices to mention. A slight bitterness. Light golden in colour with a white head.

Clear golden/amber with a tiny off white head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel and mild hoppy notes. Flavour had toasted malt, caramel and hoppy notes that gave it a bitter.

Bottle. It pours a clear, sparkling, golden body under a finger thick off-white head. Syrupy-sweet nose with some fruits, but sure on the malty side. Sweet, malty flavor with some caramel. Quite simple and straightforward, lacking the fullness and complexity I prefer in my Christmas beers. Medium body. Short finish with some sweetness and not much else. A decent beer, but it leaves me unsatisfied. (090430)
