Harmonischer Antrunk mit malzigen Noten, die zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch von röstigen und bitteren Kaffeenoten überboten werden. Im Mittelteil gehen diese leicht zurück, „normale“ Malznoten breitens ich aus. Dann kommt schlagartig eine bitter angehauchte Schokoladennote empor, in angenehmer Intensität und nicht aufdringlich. Leider ist die starke Karbonisierung durchgängig präsent und stört den an sich harmonischen Aromenablauf. Abgesehen davon ist hier ein harmonisches Stout entstanden, das weit weniger malzlastig als gedacht ist und dadurch frisch wirkt, dennoch aber eine gewisse Vollmundigkeit aufweist. Bottle at my cloisters Bar staff tasting no2... Thanks to fonefan for this ... Deep brown red ... odd fruity medicianl nose ... luigth fruit ... malty juicy ... little metalicness.

Bottle at the Spotify tasting. Black, big beige head. Bit of plastic on aroma, some choc and roasted malt. Not great, too much plastic, which does eventually soften.

Bottle 50cl. @ home.Clear medium brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark bread, roasted, damp-stained. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20081124]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a rough, off-white head. Aroma of dried fruits and a little yeast. Medium body with hard roasted malts and a little vanilla. Has a light malt bitterness in the finish. 291208

Bottled. A hazy red-brown beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of vegetables and caramel as well as light notes of roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of roasted malt and cocoa, leading to a vegetable finish. Boring.

Bottle, 6.7%. Vinous aroma, roasted and a bit phenolic. Almost black colour. The flavour is fruity with some roasted notes, hint of dust.

Dark brown with a tiny beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, chocolate and coffee. Flavourf was sweet with roasted malt, burned caramel and coffee notes. Finished sweet.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy and dark brown with a diminished white head. Dry and phenolic aroma. Roasted malt and spiced aroma. Smooth and roasted malty flavoured. Annis seed and light compared to the Lyneme. Smooth malty finish. A bit simplistic and not really exciting, but seems to be flawless.
