Brewed to the traditional Scottish style where malt is the key flavour, the addition of peat smoked malt gives the colorful ale a subtle difference.

Cask @ White Hart, Todmorden. Amber-red with a creamy head. Well peat-smoked throughout its character, with a slightly more stated aroma than taste. Has an easy-drinking texture for this style.

Cask. Pours amber, clear, with hardly any head. Smoky caramel aromas, hints of honey and burnt toast. Taste is sweet, slightly sticky malts, treacle, smoky hints. Good stuff all in all.
