Trocken herber Beginn, in dem leider keinerlei Röstnoten vorhanden sind. Keine Süße, konstant herb, leicht ansteigend malzig, kurzer Abgang. Meh. 9/6/7/5/7/6

Kirchers Cottbuser Schwarzbier, Flasche aus dem Einkaufsmarkt im Schloßbezirk, Lübbenau. - Dunkles Rotbraun, klar; sahniger Schaum. - In der Nase mildes dunkles Malz, Landkaffee, ein Hauch von zart säuerlicher Frucht, blasse Hopfung. - Im Antrunk schlankes, etwas hartes dunkles Malz, nur wenig Röstmalz, matte Bonbonsüße, herbe Frucht und schale, leicht holzige Hopfenherbe. Milder rezent, hart im Mund. Im Abgang leicht malzbitter und dumpf hopfenherb. - Für ein Schwarzbier zu wenig röstmalzig, für ein Dunkles zu dürftig und hart im Malzkörper. Noch eine Enttäuschung aus dem südlichen Brandenburg. (16.4.2022.)

Clear deep amber brown colour, tall beige head, slowly diminishing, good lacing. Aroma malty, light roasted, caramel. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter, malty, toffee, average duration. Malty sweetbitter finish, light spicy notes, watery to oily texture, maybe a bit on the thin side but decent dunkel (wouldn’t call this a schwarzbier).

Draught at Green week Berlin. Dark amber to black with a cream head. Flavour is sweet roast with a creamy caramel base. Finish is sweet caramel

Bottled. Cloudy mahogany colour, small head. Caramelly nose. Sweet with mediu mbody and rounded mouthfeel. Some molasses and caramell. Low bitterness. Too sweet and caramelly.

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium to dark amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, bread, berry. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081128]

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear reddish brown with a beige head. Light aroma of pumpernickel. Medium body, dry roasted malt, vanilla and some pumpernickel. Fairly dry, malt bitter finish. 281108

50 cL bottle, courtesy of fonefan. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a diminished white head. Smooth roasted malty aroma. Medium sweet, light breadish and light roasted. Smooth and slight roasted with a vague fruity note. Nice bitterness mixed with a light roasted acidity. Nice one.

Bottle, 4.8%. Clear dark brown colour, red shine. Sweetish flavour, hint of raisin. Mildly citric and vinous. Very mellow.
