Backlog January 2009. Dark reddish brown body under a fading beige head. Relatively mild in aroma, roasted dark malt and coffee. Taste is dry, dark roasted malt, slightly acidic coffee and balanced bitterness. Light body and short aftertaste. Somehow promising, but I think it might be the beginning of an infection going on here.

Barwa ciemnobrunatna, klarowne, piana jasnobeżowa, dość obfita, ale niezbyt trwała. W aromacie ciemne słody, spalony tost, ciemne owoce, ciemne pieczywo.

Bottle. It pours a reddish, dark brown body under a dark beige to tan head. Not very good aroma, with solvent, roasted malts and a sourish scent. Sour, lemony flavor with a good dash of roasted malts and some coffee. Thin and astringent in the mouth. This one wasn’t much good, at least not compared with its two bigger brothers. Seems to be off. Would like to get another of this one, preferable fresh. My sample wasn’t past BB-date, so it shouldn’t be as bad as it was. Still, enough nice flavors and aromas to prevent it from being all bad. (090116)
