Imperial Soft Parade is a gourmet specialty pour that is brewed with toasted rye flakes and two-row malted barley. Loaded with pureed strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries, we refer to this fermented potion as a fruit infused rye ale. The result is a refreshing fruit delicacy that’s easy to drink, appealing to look at, and finishes dry.

Bottled@Konttori, Tampere. Hazy ambery brown colour with small beige head. Aroma is strawberry, raspberry with some strange sweetness. Also quite much sour wooden notes. Flavour is a lot of raspberry with some rather dry wooden and grassy notes in the aftertaste. Quite sweet’n’sour meets total dryness. Once warm also the yeast gives it’s touch to the beer.

Bottle 75cl. @ [ Shorts Tasting ].Unclear hazy red amber blue color with a small to average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy berry, blueberry, blackberry, light to moderate strawberry, oak, alcohol. Flavor is light heavy sweet and light light blackcurrants and strawbeery acidic with a long duration, and a dry tart finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - syrupy, carbonation is soft, finish is heavy alcoholic. [20081108]

Tasting at Papsoe
Hazy reddish color; creamy head. There is a bad aroma of fresh printed magazines, glue; and light fruits. In the flavor, some bitter side clashed with the tart/fruity elements. Confused. Bad.

Bottle. Spicy vanilla aroma, some alcohol. Hazy red orange colour. The flavour starts off with a little rough bitter fruitiness, but not bad. Turns to sweeter fruits. Some red berries, berry tea, citrus, orange. Swelling mouthfeel. Good citrus flavour.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a hazy reddish with a rough, off-white head. Sweetish cherry-like aroma. Medium body with distinct raspberry notes. Dry and somewhat astringent bitter finish. Kinda funny that I pick up cherries and raspberries while it’s actually three other berries it’s made from. 311008

Cloudy red brown colour with a lasting, slightly pink head. Aroma first delivers raspberries, then some strawberry and a little malt and yeast in the background. (Too) sweet fruity flavour with a little tartness and a touch of drying tannin improving the finish.
