Bright clear gold beer. No real head. Light crispy palate. Sweet pumpkin, a little tangy. Trace of orange. Prefectly spiced (ie not too much). Finishes semi dry. To date the best pumpkin beer I’ve had.

12oz bottle pours a hazy orange with some hazy white head. Nose is almost not there, cardboard, honey, malt, light spice. Flavor is better, sweet, root vegetables, some spice, some ginger, some nutmeg, very faint vanilla. Watery finish. Drinkable, but definitely not the best Pumpkin beer out there.

Pours with a whispy white head and an... uh, pumpkin color. Smells of nutmeg and vegetables, like celery. Flavor was fun, malty and sweet but spicy. Finish is nutmeg and cinnamon like pie. I couldn’t drink 10, but one was enjoyable.

Crisp clear light copper coloured body with a two centimetre tall just off-white head and a trillion bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of pumpkin, light malt, some small amounts of caramelised sugars and a bit of light spices. Light-bodied; A tiny flavour of spices shows up at first with a mild maltiness, some light sugars and not much else, perhaps a hint of allspice and nutmeg. Aftertaste is subdued, yet showing some good flavours for the season. Overall, a lighter, but still decent herb/spice with not much going on, but a decent beer to drink if you don’t want much flavour for a pumpkin beer. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Trader Joe’s in Old Town, Alexandria, Virginia on 05-October-2012 for US$1.00 sampled at home in Washington on 20-October-2012.

2003 Batch:
Golden colour, no tints nor shades...medium sized white head. Smells of malt and a bit of nutmeg...nothing good in the nose really. Strong pumpkin flavour INSTANTLY fades into a normal american standard taste of stale malt and bad hops. In the aftertaste a very minimal amount of spice is tasted. Overall, I was VERY disapointed with this beer...a very bad offering from Shipyard who usually produces decent beers. I'll try this next year, but definately not again this year. I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Premier Gourmet in Buffalo, New York.

Purchased at Evolution Liquors in Chicago, IL; enjoyed on a Thursday night getting ready for the weekend. Appearance is a partially cloudy gold with almost no head. Aroma of pumpkin spice, sweetness, not too bad. Taste is a below-average pumpkin ale, not really much going on with this one.

Bottle. Red Hots cinnamon and pumpkin aroma. Hazy golden with a small white head. Strong cinnamon, citrus, ginger, and pumpkin malt flavor. Light body. Not horrible, but the cinnamon tends to overpower, and I don’t know if I’ve ever had a citrusy pumpkin ale. A little strange.
