Old rating from 23-07-15 - On tap from the Beer Market in Moscow. I was warned by the bar man that it was strong, at 8.5 ABV. It pours a fairly dark brown with a creamy head. Aromas of malt & rye. Tastes of malt, herbs & spices, with the alcohol well hidden. Feels of bitter IPA. All in all a very good pint, one I'd have again.

Appearance: cloudy copper with a decent ivory-coloured head. Aroma: rye malt, light caramel, citrus fruit, spruce. Taste: light to medium sweet, medium plus bitter. Rye, biscuit and caramel, citrus fruit, spruce. Lingering hop bitterness finishing the story. Palate: medium body, average to lively carbonation. Overall: a fair rye IPA. Enjoyed it quite a lot.
