Brewed in collaboration with our friends from Arizona Wilderness (Gilbert, AZ), Controlling Interest is a classic English Golden Ale brewed with malts locally-sourced from Sinagua Malt (AZ) and Murphy & Rude Malting Co. (VA). Hopped and lightly dry-hopped with English-grown East Kent Goldings, this brew is round and balanced, with toasty malts and lemony, herbal hope notes throughout. With Hibiscus added in the cask.

Cask sample at the brewpub, pours a clear, rosy gold with some sudsy white head. Floral tea nose, malts, hand soap, orange peel. Flavor is all tea, lemony, herbal, the hibiscus is right there. Oily finish with a hint of pucker. 6 4 6 3 11
