10th December 2008. Very low carbonation. Robust stout - not that thick a palate though. Nice touch of fruity blackberry offsetting the toasted malt. Sour fruity malt finish giving the stout a nice character.

Bottle at home ... Deep black ... slightly smokey roast malt nose ... Nice deep roast malt ... quite smooth and quite a bitterness in its back bone... Dont really get the blackberries. I recon his Bride was like my 3 year old daughter and ate more berries than she picked... Still a decent stout.
