12oz bottle (4% ABV) pours crystal clear copper with thin white head. The aroma seems pretty much right on in strength for the style and carries citrus orange peel and grapefruit hoppiness as well as some biscuit and crystal maltiness up and out of the glass. The taste is moderately malty sweet to crystal maltiness to start. Then before midway the citrus orange peel and modest grapefruit hop bitterness builds up only to recede into the finish. There are moderate amounts of malty sweetness, some biscuit, faint toffee, and citrus hop bitterness that rides right out into the after taste. Nice Beer.

Bottle from Wine & Beer Westpark in Richmond. Reddish amber pour with almost no head. Subtle, fruity citrus hop aroma. Taste is subtle, but tasty, with an almost perfect malt/hop balance. One of the most drinkable beers I’ve come across in a while. Nicely done.

12 oz bottle from trade with douglas88, who’s spreading the Utah love. "Bottled on 9/06/07" Pours a nice hazy pale ale coppery yellow with a thin clingy head. Light malt smell, with citrusy hop twang. Taste is pretty nice. Tiny points of carbonation give this a "fluffy" feel. Crystal malts balance with a strong but respectful citrus hop load. Notes of lemon and orange, basil, and, somehow, a little hint of oak. If you can’t up the alcohol in Utah, blitz ’em with some hops. Sessionable, but a little hearty for cooler days, too.

Grapefruit and caramel bouquet. Golden color, thin yellow head. Pine needle taste. It tastes fine, but is sort of mundane.

Nice slightly hazy amber coloured body with light orange highlights and a thinnish tan head. Aroma of fresh hops, citrus fruits, pine, alcohol, metal and some nice malt. Light to Medium-bodied; Tart and hoppy flavour directly into the taste with a lemony twang soon after. Metal and malty flavours follow next along with a light alcoholic flavour. Aftertaste shows bitterness from the hops and from the metal tastes - not great at all. Overall, a decent APA, not something special, but worth trying if you can find it out on the east coast! I sampled this 12 ounce bottle purchased from Oliver’s Beverage in Albany, New York on 17-February-2007.

Bottle: Reddish amber color with a sizeable white head, good lacing. Aroma is sweet with some floral and citrus hops. Taste is smooth with sweet malt balancing a simple mix of grapefruit hops with some floral notes. Overall it was not bad, just a bit too sweet for my taste.

Thanks to Argo0 for this one. Pours a hazy orange amber colored body with a creamy off white head. Delacate fruity aroma. Softly sweet with a touch of bitterness. Restrained in the flavors, but this puts the pieces together nicely and a decent body delivers the package appropriately.
