Tap at the Gotemba Beer Kingdom festival. Orange coloured with small creamy head. Aroma is bananas, wheat, cream. Taste nice and banana-y. Creamy, sweet toffee, little bit of lemon in there at the end. The best of their beers that I have had so far, nothing outstanding but perfectly nice. Very drinkable and I was very surprised to find out it is 7% as it hides the alcohol well.

Tap at TBE Brewing. Banana bread and clove aromas. Thin body for the style but the flavors are there. Some nice grainy wheat action on the palate as well. Finish is sweet and a tad boozy. --- Beer merged from original tick of Weizenbock on 15 Jan 2016 at 21:23 - Score: 5. Original review text: Nah.

On tap at the GJBF in Osaka 2014. 7% a cloudy deep honey gold with a lovely rich full clove spicy aroma. Medium to light bodied with a slightly sharp carbonation. The taste is malty sweet, yeasty cloves & pretty satisfying but the finish is a touch too dry in my opinion.

Draft - Sweet banana and a bit of lime, typical Weisse. Cloudy yellow with a thick head. Rich fruit, banana esters, honey and a thick syrupy palate, No ’bock’, just a weizen, maybe served the wrong beer.

Draught at the brewery. Cloudy dark gold color. Rich malt aroma with lots of banana and clove. Sweet banana flavor, with a touch of tartness as well and a decently bitter finish. Too sweet. Ok, but not very complex.

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy golden, small head. Rich banana aroma with some caramel underneath. Mid-sweet with above medium body. A bit of sugar and lots of phenolic mashed banana. No bitterness i a finish with alcohol and dough. A quite drinkable weizenbock on the mild side.

Golden with a white head. Fruity aroma with banana, yeast, some spice, and sweet caramel malts. Picked up some coriander among the spices along with a little too much banana, refreshing fruits, light malts, and yeast. Full, smooth mouth. Really enjoyed this one, though the banana was a little strong for me.

Can 350ml.Unclear light to medium orange color with a small, virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, rice, light to moderate hoppy, fruity, moderate yeasty, banana. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (050808)
