33cl bottle from Systembolaget, Västerås.Pours clear deep golden to amber with a modest, white head. Malty and moderately fruity with lightly herbal and grassy notes. Bottle. Golden color, white foam. Aroma: floral and fruity hops, a bit of citrus. Taste with a good malt profile, citrus, fruity, soft hop bitterness, good balance.

Smell of spruce, earth. Deep amber colour, beige head. Aroma of hops, spruce, some honey. Bitter. Medium carbon.

Optisch schönes Kupfer im Glas. In der Nase mehr Malz denn Frucht. Im Trunk vornehmlich malzig, leicht bitter, leicht süß. Imho kein IPA.

Aroma furu, karamell, malt. Utseende klar gylden med offwhite skum. Smak malt, karamell, sirup, mørke frukter, humle. Fyldig og maltpreget øl med moderat bitterhet. Flaske fra Systembolaget Storheden via DjOeye, 33cl 5,5%

Bottle picked up at Systembolaget Hansa, Malmo (shared with the Mrs at home) - colour is amber with a white ringed head. Aroma and taste is sweet malty and subdued fruity, has some caramel malty sweetness, hoppy bitter, but picking up some off putting buttery accents in the finish.

Bottle at Hotel Jamteborg, Östersund. Dark brown colour, flat. A very thick, creamy, caramel taste and palate. Quite bitter but not a usual IPA hoppy bitterness. It does lack flavour depth. ------ Tap at Bishops Arms Östersund. Taken from 3.2 to 2.5. Honey gold colour. A bit of a mess with a ridiculously clingy bitterness. (5/4/18). ------ Bottle from Systembolaget. 2.5 to 3. A humble kind of british ipa. (23/5/20) ------ Keg at Captain Cooks, Östersund. Extremely drinkable and pleasant little ale. Almost a homage to the lost bitter as it veers towards the English style. 3 to 3.2.(2/6/23) ------ Keg at Captain Cooks, Östersund. Easy drinking with little aroma and mahogany colour. Not all that English. 3.2 to 3.1.
