Pint at the brewery is a thick, murky black with plenty of beige head. Nose is big cocoa and malt and molasses. Flavor has coffee and cocoa and licorice and malt. Off dry. Full bodied.

Draught @ the brewery. Opaque dark brown with a small frothy tan head, mocha aroma, adequate carbonation, bitter cocoa taste, thin body, long bitter finish. Okay, but a bit too bitter.
