A classic reddish-amber Märzen long associated with celebrating the harvest season. Bready malt flavors with just enough spicy and floral hops for balance. Prost!

Deep crisp and pretty clear golden coloured body with a copper tint and a thinnish, relatively fast-dying off-white head. Aroma of grain, light malts, some caramelised sugars and a dash of mellow, low alpha acid German Hops. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grainy and malty flavours show at first with a bigger bite of nuts and caramel along with a kick of yeast and alcohol with some breadiness towards the end. Aftertaste shows some very light hop notes with a small hit of alpha acids and a touch of grain noticeable, but the caramel, toffee and nutty flavours are the strongest here, especially on the finish, with a pretty crisp bite throughout. Overall, a decent enough Marzen with a rich and pungent malt profile, but less on the hop side of things and not much complexity to go around here, but still nice to try, given the season. I sampled this sixteen ounce pour on draught at Kloby's [smokehouse] in Columbia/Laurel, Maryland on 25-October-2022 for US$7,00 while eating some nice barbecue food that I didn't even have to smoke!

12oz can from Wardman Wines, pours a murky, dark orange with some clumpy white head. Nose has malt, some yeast, some bread, some caramel. Flavor is just OK, some bread, some orange, a little carrot. Finishes watery.
