Ridiculously hazy, bright ruby and pure red coloured body with bits of both pink and purple in the mix with a beautiful, fast-dying deep ruby and strong pink coloured body - this is fully, one hundred per cent opaque - looks beautiful and almost exactly like most of the beers from Boiler Brewing in Lincoln, Nebraska - this is great! Aroma of ridiculously soured raspberries with some light lemon and citrus elements along with some icing sugar, light wheat and a ton of super pungent raspberries again. Light to Medium-bodied; Very strong fruit notes dominate here with a lot of wheat and citrus notes, but of course the majority of the flavours here are solely the raspberries and tart notes with a small dose of vanilla and creaminess towards the end, but it's hard to get past the fruits. Aftertaste shows a bunch of tart flavours, some softer wheat and a lot of sweet notes shine through and provide a great complexity and balance with the fresh raspberries by far the strongest again, but blended well with creamy lactose, a bunch of malts and some subtle sweetness. Overall, a very nice beer that shows well, especially for the style and if you like raspberries, this is a must-have, and even if you don't, this will give you the idea of a 'mimosa gose' or the beers that are typical and commonplace at Boiler Brewing Company (one of the best) in Lincoln, Nebraska which produces these types of beers regularly in a great way! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 21-August-2020 for US$5,30 sampled at my house here in Washington, a few hours before the inauguration of our 46th president.
