0.75l bottle from Beergium, shared with friends. Aroma of roasted malt, cocoa, vanilla and faint spicy hint. Pours pitch black color with thin creamy light brown head and fair lacing. Taste starts with sweet and rich roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla and licorice, following is nutty, ashy, woody and a bit herbal, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, thick texture and soft carbonation in palate. Nice one for spice girls & spice boys…

750ml bottle pours a thick cola brown, frothy tan head.  Chocolate nose, malt and molasses too.  Thyme is there in the mouth, its clearly thyme too and I'm glad they got a lot of flavor out of it because it helps round out all the roast and malt and molasses. Off dry, but reasonably drinkable for 10%.  7 4 7 4 13
