Vi har udviklet denne lækre kobberfarvede juleale på 6,1%. Den overgærede ale er brygget på bygmalt, hvor vi har tilføjet nogle lækre julede krydderier som appelsinskal, slåenbær, anis og nelliker. Dette giver en herlig duft og fylde, som om hele julen var i glasset foran dig. En fremragende drik til at byde julen velkommen! Kan nydes for sig selv, eller sammen med alle julens herligheder og godter.
Øllen er brygget til ære for Abbed Gunner, som var den syvende abbed på Øm kloster. Gunner blev i 1208 munk i cistercienserordenen. Overordnet er abbed Gunner (senere biskop Gunner) nok mest kendt for sit forfatterskab til Jyske Lov i 1241.

500 ml bottle, from Hos Walter, Ebeltoft. ABV is 6.1%. Amber colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of spices (cloves and others), orange peel, sloe, anise, liquorice and Belgian ale yeast. The flavour has the same elements as the aroma, also notes of brown kandij sugar, but the beer is not too sweet. Spicy finish.

Tap@Skaal, Copenhagen - Hazy Amber pour with off white head. Furity and malty with some notes of dried fruit, some apricot, sweet caramel, yeasty action, mixture of spices into the finish.

Bottle. Pours dark reddish brown with small white head. Aroma is peated malt, Belgian abbey yeast, overripe apples, autumn leaves, dried flowers and caramel. Taste is medium sweet and very faint bitter. Body is light creamy with soft carbonation. Finish is medium long with notes of caramel, fruit, cream, hazelnuts and very faint grapefruit.

Bottle @ Home. Pours lightly hazy dark brown with a cream colored head. Aroma of malt, caramel, dark fruit, spices. Taste is malt, caramel, spruce, licorice, sweet dark dried fruit. Full body, soft carbonation. Very nice. 050910

Gewürziger Antrunk, wenig herb, im Mittelteil deutlich würziger werdend. Hier setzten die Gewürze ein, die das Bier zu einem Weihnachtsbier machen, etwas Nelke, auch Zimt ist geringfügig vorhanden. Karamellig, etwas kräuterartig. Trocken herb im Abgang, süßlich, weiter sehr gewürzig. /11/10/10/8 fass /10

Bottle at Esbjerg beerfestival. Red amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is anise, dark fruits, fruit. Flavour is sweet, anise, caramel, yeast, hop, dark fruits, spices. Full body. Nice beer.

cloudy brown, smooth thick light brown head. strong spices dominated aroma. cardemom, coriander, syrupy sweetness, faint flowery hops like note too.faint berries. a bit brutal on the spices, but aroma is fine. flavor is sweet, flowery, sugary, spicy, a bit malty, nice. i get cardemom, berries, faint banana like flavor, a good amount of sweet malts and other stuff too. many flavors, flavor is a bit too dependent on the spices but for me it works fine. spiced like a spicy cake almost.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet spicy - cloves, anise, and cinnamon, combined with notes of bread, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and lots of spices - anise, coriander, cloves, and a bit of cinnamon, leading to a dry bready and spicy finish. The alcohol warms the tongue.
