750ml bottle pours a neon red with some pinkish head. Nose billows out the glass with tart cherries and sweet cherry pie, some lemon and red grapefruit too. Some acetyl acid blows off too. Flavor hits with tartness first and none of it is fruit, it's sweaty, it's vinegar, it's pomegranate vinaigrette, the cherry creeps but the vanilla is gone due to the acid and so it's left feeling imbalanced. Grapefruit lingers. High acid, bone dry finish. A little less acid or a little more residual sugar and this would have drank better.
