Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Very crisp and slightly hazy golden coloured body with a pretty large, five to six centimetre tall pure white, fairly dense head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of light grass, a subdued grainy note, hints of citrus, especially lemons with a bit of lager yeast and biscuits towards the end. Light-bodied; Very cirsp and grassy herbal flavours dominate, but the light sugars and especially dry lager yeast notes are very nice and robust, especially for the style, which leave a nice bitterness at the end, which is very flavourful throughout, as well. Aftertaste is dry of course, but the malt hits hardest in a good way, with some rice and light graininess here, but mostly biscuity and crisp. Overall, a very nice beer, especially for the style, with all of the things you want to have and none of the real bitterness or funky qualities/astringencies that are sometimes associated with Kolschs. Great to sample - thanks to Colleen for this one - I've still never seen it in a store at all, but was lucky enough to have this one super fresh from a real boat! I sampled this twelve ounce can, given to me by my coworker, who works on a small yacht in Annapolis Harbor, Maryland, canned on 14-March-2022 and sampled at my house after a hot day here in Washington on 19-August-2022.

12oz can pours a clear, pale yellow, clumpy and sudsy white head. Nose has grist, corn, flowers, some yeast. Flavor has a lick of lime, elote, some yeast, dried herbs. Finishes dry, very dry in fact with some minerality. I kept coming back to this six pack in my fridge.
