Old Ale aged in bourbon barrels
A medium bodied dark brown ale with an enormous nose of bourbon and alcohol. Predominately sweet, unique flavors of plum, figs, and brown sugar are perceivable. Toasted malt qualities are complimented by oak-y wood flavors imparted from an extensive barrel aging process, aiding in a warming finish. Complex flavors of oak, vanilla, and bourbon are imparted from an extensive barrel aging process, aiding in a warming finish.

Sampled at GABF 2013. Pours a hazy amber with some eggshell head. Sweet nose, maple, bourbon, brown sugar, malt, cane sugar. Flavor is overly sweet, maple, brown sugar, earthy, some bread. Boozy finish. Starts out nice, but just too boozy.
