Sampled from the tap at Timberline Denver Airport. Pours a hazy amber brown with a tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has lots of rye with resin, pine and oak notes underlying. Flavor is similar with strong rye throughout supported by grass, pine, oak and a bit of resin.

On tap at Denver Beer Co. Pours a clear, deep amber with one ring of head. Nose is sweet, lightly boozy, pine, orange, brown sugar. Flavor is malty, sweet, brown sugar, orange, caramel, a little pepper. Peppery, boozy finish. Not a whole lot of booze, which is nice. Well blended.
