Red-wine driven, robust porter with a strong chocolate finish. Its smoky, complex and great for fall! Was brewed in collaboration with The Red Hen restaurant in Bloomingdale, DC

10oz pour at The Red Hen DC. Pours a hazy, translucent mahogany amber with one ring of tan head. Nose is interesting, dried cocoa powder, bright red grape, grapefruit juice, unripened plum, malt, light soured coffee, light wood. Flavor is very similar, sour fruit, plum, unripened peach, some dark chocolate, malt, stale coffee, lots of dark chocolate, some bread, red grape. Dry finish. Great treatment. Definitely elevates the base.
