Incubator #2 is a red ale brewed with rye malt and a generous addition of American hops, both in the kettle and dry hop. A full caramel body complements the firm bitterness and accentuates the citrus/floral notes in the aroma. The rye malt accentuates the dry, spicy character of the hops. Full flavored yet drinkable, Incubator #2 lands somewhere between a pale ale and an ipa in hop character, but with a bit darker color and deeper malt flavor.
