Two Way Mirror explores the connection between beer & wine, alongside the expression of terroir. Brewed exclusively with Virginia grown barley from Murphy & Rude (Charlottesville, VA), then conditioned on Rosé wine grape must from Walsh Family Wine (Purcellville, VA) & champagne yeast. Two Way Mirror is part lager, part wine. Bright, subtle & refreshing, yet alluringly complex.

50cl bottle pours a clear gold, ring of white head. Nose has grist, plenty of floral notes, a little ethanol. Grape presents more as muddled fruit than anything. Pale grist just serves as a palate, as much for the must as for the champagne yeast. High carb and bone dry. Fun.

First try @Bluejacket. Dull, oily, frothy gold tulip. Sweet pink wine nose with some bready notes. Sharp & crispy upfront but it melts into a bittersweet, slightly too sweet, slick, earthy-flabby $8 box of rośe wine. Could have been better.
