Bottled. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, fruit, and English hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, fruit, and English hops, that I’m not so fond of. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle that was very kindly passed onto me by Craig, cheers mate consumed 22-03-09 Pours warm gold, but a little murky the head was pretty good though did depart swiftly and was sort of off-white in colour. Some earthy hops present initially and I know nothing about this particular bottle but it tastes like its a new take on an old fashioned beer, and typically of Old Chimneys its been done rather well as usual. Toffee, hops and a touch of yeast and malts swirl around the mouth but its the rustic earthy qualities I like and this sort of reminds me a little of my recent Hopshackle forays, another fine brewer whose keen to reproduce less popular or long forgotten styles. Really decent beer fruity and moreish. A7 A3 F7 P4 OV14 3.5

Bottle, thx to fonefan. It pours a semi-clear dark golden, with a small off-white head. Subtle aroma of caramel and fruity hops. Caramel-sweet flavor with a nice hop-profile and a bitter finish. Quite full-bodied and dry in the mouth. A quite simple beer, but well-tasting and moreish. (080824)

Bottle, 5.7%. Distinctly fruity aroma, hint of spicy hops. Hazy orange colour. Small white head. The flavour starts off quite yeasty, but turns more spicy from the hops.
