From tap at the brewery. Fruity hops aroma, mild and light. Flavour is a lot more dense with a solid yet smooth hoppy base flavour with a mild caramel malt base showing through. Dry and spiced hops finish. A bit too brutal but still very good.

Bomber from South Bay Drug. Copper amber color with a very slight white head. Very strong pine and citrus aromas. Near full bodied. With creamy carbonation. Malty. Bitter. Dry unto astringency. Hop bomb it is. It’s not even harsh.

Bottle. Rich amber beer with no head. Big tropical fruit, sweet malt aroma. Sweet malt flavor with lots of hops - summer/tropical and slight pine. Medium body. Big fruity flavors linger with sweetness and a touch of alcohol. Seemed to lack a bit of carbonation that would also boost the bitterness a bit. Still, very nice.

Bomber pours deep gold with copper core and thin white head. I can smell the aroma from three feet away. I get big pine and grapefruit hops, mild sweet brown sugar and orange juice. Nice. Big and brash. Yum, the taste is thick viscous richness with slick sweet malts that quickly get completely overwhelmed by a mountain of hops from big pine hop bitterness and a sizeable load of grapefruit bitterness. Wow, huge hops but with nice smooth edges. This beer speaks to me and I like what is says, “drink me and enjoy.”

Pours copper into a Trappist glass. White head quickly recedes to hug rim leaving no lacing. Sweet citrus and pine aromas. Sweet and boozy upfront with a burning pine and resin finish.

Sent the photo in. Pours with a small, thick, white head covering a honey orange body. Very good lacing left on my glass. Aroma of sugar covered ruby grapefruit, pine needles and some light caramel notes. Taste is chewy hoppiness and a nice sweet alcohol presence to offset the citrus hop bite; it does so quite nicely, and leaves a good balanced flavor. The taste takes a while to cycle over your taste buds, and lasts a long time. Alcohol is noticable in the flavor, but still remains extremely drinkable. The 750mL bottle went fast, and it was just myself enjoying it. The feeling on the tongue is smooth and a bit coating, the carbonation is light; just how I like it. Great DIPA!

Sampled at the Brickskeller’s Lupulin Reunulin. Pours a translucent, rosy yellow orange with a soft, cloudy white head. Aroma is mild compared to some other DIPAs with lemons, oranges, some candy and plenty of resiny Columbus hops. Flavor had tons of citrus, sweet caramel, orange peel, pine, flowers, toffee and butterscotch. Syrupy in the mouth with a touch of alcohol heat. Compared to the sours this lacked a bit. Compared to other DIPAs this might not hold up either.

Bomber shared by Odeed! Thanks Jake! Nose of ivy, citrus and flowery hops; lightly hazy orange with a medium offwhite head; Flavor is light hop bitterness, light caramel malt notes, and lots of hoppiness; finish is more bitter than the flavor and turns moderate.
