From a bomber dated 2013. Pours a cloudy amber with an ecru head. Aromas of raisins and toffee. Flavors are boring sweet Xmas fruit cake.

Tap at Bluejacket, DC. Color is clear reddish Brown with very small bubbly white head. Aromas and flavours: Ripe fruits, plum, some molasses, some syrup and malts.

On tap at the brewery pours a garnet amber with some sticky, off white head. Nose has dried fruits, cracked grains, some cocoa powder, some booze. Flavor is boozy, dried fruits, some tannic sun tea, candy, cocoa powder. Full bodied, boozy and tannic.
