500ml bottle from Sainsbury. Ruby/chestnut colour with lasting beige head. Bit of yeast, bit of fruit, bit of dryish malt on the aroma. Some yeast, acidic nature in mouth. Decent yeasty character, some hop sting on end, helped by metallic carbonation. Yes the yeast is good, some ok fruit, malts could be firmer. Hops are a little understated. Malts a bit syrupy, but got good fruit. Didn’t expect much, but the yeast is decent. Still not great.

500ml bottle from Sainsbury’s Local, Oxford. Huge rocky and dense beige head over a deep, dark body (very nice!). Perfumed malty aroma. Sweet and smooth malty flavour with a short bitter ending. Good looking with a dull content (16.03.2008).

Bottle, picked up at Sainsbury’s, Kidlington, Oxon Poured amber with white head, tasted smooth, vanilla, sweet shop candy flavours, this is a shocker artificial and plastic. Winners Tipple? This old nag should be sent to the glue factory.
