12/7/2024. Cask at the 33rd Ealing Beer Festival. Pours clear bright golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, fruit, butter. Quite sweet with moderate bitterness and body. Slightly oily and watery, soft carbonation. Okay but sweet,

Bottle from Redh. Appearance - golden with a slightly off-white proportionate head. Nose - shortbread, light fudge and burnt sugar. Taste - burnt sugar, caramel and sweet malt. Palate - light to medium bodied, sweet middle and doesn't really clean on the finish. Overall - too sweet for the style.

Bottle at the Brighton Dome. Strange to see such a low rating. I thought this was a fabulous example of a great Sussex best bitter. I love this style. Sweet malts blending with bitter crunch and light hops. Wanted a few more but hey couldnt interrupt the brilliant Nish Kumar with a beer run

Pours slightly hazy golden colour, topped with a medium sized white head. Slight soury nose initially, fruity and citrusy with mild cellar notes. Sparkly texture, quite, Slightly fruity sweet in the beginning, followed by milder bitterness. Mild and shorter aftertaste, light body.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Goldecn colour with a white foam head leaving lacing and aroma of fruity banana, hay. Taste is sweetish, pale malty, fruity, with a mellow citrus note, hay, straw, and earthy bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry clean finish. Quite OK
