Cask at the GBBF 2008, as York Pure Gold (ABV 5.0%). Golden colour, moderate head. Hoppy aroma with notes of grapefruit and tropical fruits. The flavour has distinct notes of grapefruit, but there is also a considerable sweetness. Bitter finish.

Very appealing aromatic hoppy. Succulent oranges with hints of grapefruits and juicy malts in a long-lived flavour. Smooth bitter aftertaste. Hazy, light golden appearance. Perfect as a summer drink. Mouth-building. A role model for the style (Cask, hand-pulled at GBBF, 09.08.2008).
