Cask gravity at Firkin Ale House Folkestone. Clear gold. Lasting white head. A little farty yeast on the aroma. Some biscuit malt in the mouth, faint hop on the finish. Cracking condition mind.

(Cask at St. Urho’s Pub, 20130701) The beer poured golden and a little bit hazy. Its head was small, long lasting and white. Aroma had malts, sweetness and mild sourness. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, citricness and bitterness. Aftertaste had malts, hint of boiled vegetables and low bitterness. A confusing beer. Perhaps the cask was too old.

Cask@GBBF2008. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is fruits (citrus and banana) along with some spices, mild sourness and mild notes of sticky honeyish sweetness. Flavour is spices, malts, some hops along with mild vanilla, not-too-sweet candy and mild notes of sap.

Cask-conditioned at the Old Tavern, Bristol 23/5/08. Reddish-gold in colour with a slight white head. Aroma of fruit, with some earthy hops. Flavour had some biscuit malt before ending with plenty of hops. Very drinkable.
