Cask at the Three Mariners, Hythe. Straw with a thin white head; clean citrus flavour; good, slightly spicy, bitterness to finish with a hint of honey. A straight-forward well-made golden ale.

Cask@GBBF2008. Golden colour, not much head. Aroma is yeast, eggyness and some mild notes of wood. Flavour is quite much the same. Not very exciting.

Cask gravity at Rare Breeds BF 08. A new beer from Rother Valley. Deep gold with thin beige head. Excellent condition. Honey aroma. Bit earthy in mouth. Excellent hop bite on finish, bit nettley even. Not overly honey flavoured but definitely there and a good satisfying finish.
