On cask at Henry’s Bar, Paignton, Devon. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - red fruits, maybe even sweet red fruits. Taste - strawberry confirmed with light malt backbone. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - yeah, tho one grew on me.

(Cask at Black Door, Helsinki, 20110827) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had toffee and malts. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were toffee, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. This beer was too one dimensional but it was also clean and balanced.

Cask, handpump at The Penny Black, JDW, Bicester, Oxon, 04-09-09 Pours more amber than a silvery gold colour that I was expecting, white bubbly head sits atop. Both the aroma and flavours are quite rustic and earthy, a little old fashioned and nothing like I was anticipating. There is a reasonable bitterness, its a touch dry, bit of chewy caramel, its ok.
