Jackman’s American Pale Ale is brewed true to the style - medium-bodied, crisp and refreshing, with plenty of hop flavor and hop aroma. It’s noticeable hop bitterness is contrasted by the spicy and floral characteristics of the highest quality hops grown in the U.S.

Orange beer with medium and blond head. Aroma is fresh, tropical fruits, mangos, grapefruits, some woodeness, toffee and fructose. Flavour is fruitfull, pine needles, quite lot of bitterness and surprisingly, aftertaste is not dry, but overally it turns out to malty and sligtly woodeness. Nice and easy to drink. When beer is warmer is not so fruitfull and more woody. Beer with American fruitness, more refreshning would be nice, but still nice and enjoyable beer.

(bottle, 35.5cl) Hazy, amber colour with a mid-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Berry- and citrus-fruity hoppy finish with lighter piney accents and a cara-malty background, also a tinge of liquorice is detectable. Moderately bitter flavour with a light but balancing malty sweetness, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Soft cara-malty base with fruity hops; quite dry and hop bitter finish with fruity and piney spots. Pleasant. 04.VIII.10

Bottle: almost clear, copper coloured, small off-white foamy layer; dry malty and distinctive - sorry - "english" hoppy nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, accompanied by a little acidity; moderate malty-bitter finish with a lingering hoppiness in the aftertaste. Well crafted, spicy brew......
