75cl bottle @ SuperBest, Odense. Pours slight unclear copper/orange with a small white head. Nose is sweet of bread, caramel and fruits. Some hay, grassy and floral flavors. Medium bodied. Medium to low carbonation. Quite sweet. Bread and orange fruit dominates. Drinkable.

Bottled. A dark golden beer with a huge orangey head, is it over carbonation or a slight infection? The aroma is sweet, but with a slight acidic edge and notes of malt, caramel, bread, and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and bread, but also lighter notes of dusty hops, alcohol, and eggs, leading to a medium bitter finish.

Had this at Chris O’s pre GBBF tasting, 02-08-08 cheers for a wonderful day Chris Pours light amber in colour with a thin white head, some marzipan detected on nose. Some light boiled sweet and also a light numbing fizziness on tongue, nice body to it, I fall into the camp that enjoyed this.

Bottle at Chris_o Pre GBBF Shindig 08. This was an odd little gem in the middle of some other beers. It is certainly a Marzen style, little bit of lager puke in there. But good enough. Oddly I was halfway between liking it and not liking it. Just couldn’t decide whether is was great or I didn’t like it much. Very odd position to be in.

75cl. best before apr 1 2009. Nice citrussy/hoppy aroma that goes sweeter as it warms up.clear yellow, white head, looks okay. refreshing, quite some sweet notes, aftertaste is balanced the sweet lingers off. very drinkable. abv 6.3%!! I´d never have guessed this much. Serve this to your Girl "friend" and she’ll never know what hit her lol. Not a fantastic beer, but quite drinkable if you like the sweeter stuff. sort of like a mild honey something.
