In Summer 2009, after a successful run with Top Cat, it was decided that the recipe needed updating and revamping - to reflect the growing demand for paler, hoppier styles of beer. The final product (at an increased strength of 5%) was felt to be so far removed from the original that a new name was used - Wild Cat was born!

36 Pint box thing, Guy’s wedding reception, Swainsthorpe, Norfolk. Oowee, completely lost track of how many I had of this once I was into double figures, but if my memory serves me well enough this kicked ass. Really nice fragrantly fruity hoppy flavour. A bit on the chewy side doc, but that’s all good man. Was having a blast in the teepee getting mega loose on the dance floor and having a right royal knees up with the people I love. Bliss. Top Cat! The most effectual Top Cat! Who’s intellectual close friends get to call him T.C. Providing it’s with dignity. Top Cat! The indisputable leader of the gang. He’s the boss, he’s a pip, he’s the championship. He’s the most tip top, Top Cat. Yes he’s a chief, he’s a king, But above everything, He’s the most tip top, Top Cat. Top Cat!

Amber. Low head. Good clarity. Sweet fruity aroma and well balanced fruity taste. Green oranges accent. Medium palate (Half on gravity served at perfect shape in the winter garden at The Fat Cat in Ipswich 22.09.2006).
