4.9% alc/vol, re-fermented in the can. Made with pale malt, flaked corn, East Kent Goldings hops, invert sugar no.1 and yeast.

This is a re-creation of an early 20th Century London IPA, down to the water chemistry. War rationing and temperance politics combined to make this beer lighter than its predecessors.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear-ish yellow with white head. Quite dry, mild corn malt, feint Belgian yeast quality, neutral bittering hops. Wondering if the age allowed it to dry out more. Decent.

473 ml can. Pours a clear cold with moderate head. Aromas of corn syrup, pears, and toasted malts. Flavors of bittering hops, cereal, and sharp toasted malts. Very lagerish. Maybe historic, but not very interesting.

Can pour at East Side Beer Fest. Pours clear gold. Sweeet malts and sweet grass on the nose. Flavour is crisp and grassy with dry cracker malts. Nice bite. Not the most expressive, but well-done.

473mL can, pours a clear pale golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma has notes of sweet corn, soft bready malt, and subtle earthy hops. Flavour is quite bitter, more so than the older recipes in this series, with some corn, bready malt, and bittering hops. A bit harsh but I’m digging it somewhat.

Pale, slight haze, thick head. The malts are a bit sticky, some herbal notes, and a fair bit of bitterness in there as well. This one's okay, but probably should be drier to really allow the core elements to show through better...it's just too sticky now.
