Cask @ Dirty Dicks, Halifax. Golden with a very slight tangerine tint (although maybe not), but it does glow. Funnily enough I was chatting to the barman at Hebden Bridge’s Fox & Goose about this beer two days earlier having never heard of it before, and at the time learn’t that the Brewer at Acorn is a Blackpool FC fan, hence the name of the ale hailing from Oakwell territory, although August 2014 is not a good time to be celebrating the Seasiders given their current troubles. A geographical beer oddity it seems. Crisp and malty which is more so in its nose with a very easy drinking texture.
