Bottled at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. A brown beer with a thin lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel, while the flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and caramel.

Århus2008. 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy and dark brown with a fully diminished off white head. Dense fruity and somewhat oldish aroma. Flavour is solid fruity with a light breadish malt note beneath. Goes into a dry fruity and breadish malt mix in the finish. Light bitterness lurking through.

Draught. Very deep amber colour, not much head. Aroma is bigtime nuts and chocolate. Flavour is chocolate, nuts, hops and some mild spices. I came to think of a Christmas beer when drinking this.

On tap at the brewpub. Dark brown/amber body with a dense beige head. Strong aroma of caramel, malt, chocolate and bitter hops. Flavor is sweet caramel, malt, nutty, toffee, bitter and traces of smoked malt. This beer has a strong, sweet flavor. It’s almost too sweet alone, but together with the cookie/ice-cream desert (as this beer must be designed for ) it tasted excellent. Like a rally BIG brown ale without being imperial.
