16 ounce can courtesy of blutt59. Thanks! Pours a hazy orange color with a large tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of earthy and tropical hops with caramel. The taste is bitter earthy hops with some leafiness, nutty notes and faint malty notes. Medium bodied. Nice beer.

Can thanks to someone, I can’t remember who, sorry. Poured a clear amber with a tan head that dissipated slowly to the edges. Aroma was full of pine with backing sweet grains and a slight underlying hint of caramel. Flavor began with strong pine that mellowed to more of a sweet bread/grain finish.

Hazy amber color; medium creamy head. Caramel and hop aroma, a bit earthy, but also some bitter oranges. Medium body, caramel, quite dry, with strong bitterness, and possibly the final is slightly metallic. Strong, pleasant but common.

Canned@Monks Café, Wallingatan, Stockholm. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, caramel malts, toffee, grass and some slight notes of herbs. Flavour is fruits, wood, a bit grass and also some rather harsh and dry hayish notes. Also some strange earthy and sugary notes in the finish.

Canned at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Hazy amber, small head. Perfumy grapefruit aroma. Quite dry with doughy malt. Medium bodied with clean rounded mouthfeel. spritzy finish with some resiny bitterness. Uncomplicated quancheable pale ale.

Can - thanks sigma23. Pours a soft copper color with a finger of sticky beige head. Sweet citrus and thick with pine resin and floral hops. Tastes dry with florals and more resin. A little malty and some rye before a linger floral bitters in the tail.

16 oz. can. Don’t think I’ve ever seen unfiltered beer from a can. A bit of a start to see it for the first time. Pretty dark part of the pale ale spectrum, almost brown. Spongy head. Smell is cleanly malty, with a respectful backing of northwestern hops. Taste suggests some dry-hopping, with a grassy, almost wet hop taste. Some prickly pineapple and grapefruit, too. But a slightly darker roast malt provides a bit of balance, some nuttiness and a hint of wheat toast. A slightly amped up English brown ale piggybacking onto American hops. And the hop nose keeps coming, all the way through the glass.

Courtesy of fishingnet. The can pours copper with gold edges and thin off white head. The aroma has malty goodness, a spot of grains and faint pine hops. The taste has a shot of modest pine hop bitterness first and then followed by malts, caramel and biscuit.

Can graciously provided by ericandersnavy. Hazy apricot color with a big off-white head. Sort of soapy pine aroma. About medium in body with frothy carbonation. There’s some roasted caramel and a lot of floral and resin hop. My mouth is puckering a bit. Sort of an uber- ESB. Finish is malty, but hoppy. Seems well balanced by my lights, but I’m a sideways kind of guy. Did I live in Conroe, WTFTI, this would certainly be my goto beer. Really glad I had this beer. It’s a beer that says, yeah, there are nifty taste surprises in the remotest spots. Go Southern Star!!!
