Bottle pour at the DCBeer December 2025 share. Poured a slightly cloudy amber-red color, still a small, off-white head. Aroma was still sharp sour notes after all these years. Tart, and sour. Not a lot of pumpkin, but a decent amount of sour, tart malts. Really nice and sweet. Liked this one quite a lot. Really held up well after over a decade from when it was bottled.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Logged this here because the abv and name on the board match, though I'm not picking up any bourbon. Aroma is quite spicy with nutmeg, pumpkin spices, vinegar, malt, oak, red fruits, and a touch of liquor. Massively sour flavour with a lot of sweetness as well. Body is medium to full. Typical Cascade puckering sourness, lots of spices surfacing gradually in the aroma. Nice one, good use of pumpkin spices.

Aus der Flasche (Vintage 2014) im 2024-10 getrunken. Diese braun, trübe Ale kommt mit einer wunderbaren Kombination aus Gewürzaromen daher. Dazu kommt ein tolles malzige, süße Aromen die durch die Fassreifung im Rumfass ausbalanciert wurden. Der Alkohol ist perfekt eingebunden. Wunderbar!

DARK, hazy Amber color and a small White head. Yeah, sour, less complwx, maybe a little too old. Sour, acidic, Balsam.ico.

Tap @ Øst. Slightly unclear, deep brown body under a small, lacing tan head. Strong aroma of malt, caramel, dry fruit, spices, ginger and hint of wood. Taste is quite sweet with some balancing acidity, malt, caramel, ginger, wood, toffee, spice cake and moderate bitterness. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste with an alcoholic sting. Nice, but not something I can drink much of.

750 c&c from ? Pours translucent dark brown with a lot of beige bubbles. Aroma is tart/sour. Med body. Flavor is tart/sour and pie spice. Somewhat acidic going down. Some astringent oak notes. Not getting much bourbon and less brandy.
