From 75cl bottle at Grand Cru, Rimini, Italy. Pours hazy light brown with low carbonation. Aroma is rich of nuts, some sweet feeling, quote tannic. Body is medium-dense with low carbonation, quote some astringency and some stickiness. Taste has some sweetness at first, and relevant sourness all over the place. Finish is long.

Bottle at home. Pours murky amber, nose is oak, caramel, spices, toffee, taste is tart, juicy, sweet, funky, oak, light pumpkin, sour finish.

Tap at Pita Kabob in Visalia. Love the Cascade bees generally but this one falters slightly. The alcohol is well hidden. Restrained pumpkin with moderate spice.

Sampled at Max’s Rare and Obscure 2016 pours a clear, dark amber with no head. Nose has tons of acid and some mild spice, apples. Flavor has loads of acid, some root veg and spice. Just too tart.

Wow. This might possibly be the one of the best pumpkin beers I?ve had. Almost as good as Allagash Ghoulship. But three times as expensive of course. Light smipce and some pumpkin and a huge dose of sour plum, tangerine and apricot. Mostly like a Flanders Red with pumpkin stuff, but the weird experiment really works. Too bad it?s too expensive to buy in bottle. Maroon pour with good lacing and decent head. Tangy and tart finish. And the barrel aging even works with rum infusion. Tap at Whole Foods.

On tap at Bier:30 hazy copper with a thin white head. Big sweet deep sour flavors. Easy on the pumpkin but malty and smooth. Good sourness. Very good

On tap at bier thirty. Pours out amber topped with a small head. Nose is nice tartness with the pumpkin pie and spice. Taste is more of the nice tart pucker and sweet pumpkin pie.

On tap at Beercraft. It pours an amber color with no head. The aroma is acidic and a bit vinous with some grapes, molasses, mild cinnamon and syrup. The flavor is tart with more vinous red grapes, hints of molasses and rum. Cinnamon. Full bodied with strong acidity, but it’s tempered by a lot of sweeter flavors as well. Surprisingly not harsh on the palate and pretty easy to drink for what it is. I like most of Cascades bigger, sweeter sours due to the balance of extremes.

750ml bottle, bought from Beer Run. Poured a cloudy amber red color, small off-white head. Aroma was sharp sour notes, light fruit. Tart, sour, sweet notes. Not really getting a lot of pumpkin at all in this - maybe I am just missing it? Very easy to drink though, almost pounded half the bottle without a problem. Very good.

Draft at BittetCreek. A nice cap to the flight. Hazy, dark amber with small, creamy head. Light aroma, but gets serious after that. Taste is pure pumpkin, and light tingling sourness. Velvety smooth, creamy. Truly delicious.
