Bottle with thanks to douglass88! Pours hazy reddish amber with a small tan head and some lacing on the glass. Aroma is tart cherry, oak, dark sugary rum. Not getting much spice on the nose. Flavor is light tart, lightly spiced, fruity (but not really pumpkin), definite rum. Light astringence from time in oak, just a touch of funk for good measure, and a bit of balancing bitterness. Well hidden ABV. There is a lot going on in this beer, and it would be very easy to see it turning into a train wreck, but in Cascade’s hands, it all comes together quite nicely into something that is truly unique, very pleasant to drink, and impossible to write about effectively. Draft at the source. Cloudy reddish amber color. Aroma of funky summer fruit. Taste is. Ery fruity, lots of softly sour gourd. Delicious.

Well I did end up getting pumpkin smashed, so points for truthiness. On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark brown color with a large off-white head. A light sour big rum barrel nose. The initial flavor was sour zesty lacto, cherries and wood. The dominant flavor though might be super sweet hot rum barrels. But the true winner here is big roasted pumpkins, spices, vanilla, very natural. Damn nice crazy brew.

On tap at Cascade, pours an opaque dark orangey brown with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out loads of pumpkin pur�e, some dark fruits, rum barrels, and spices. Flavour brings out loads of rum barrels, pumpkin pur�e to follow, pumpkin spices further back and some dark soured fruits. The tartness isn't that strong, but the pumpkin and spices are. Alcohol is dangerously well-worked in. Delicious stuff.
