300ml on draught, enjoyed in the brewpub’s gårdhave eating lunch with Skinnyviking. Shining dark-red body topped by a low, off-white head. Firm hoppy aroma followed by more tangy hops in the flavour. Heavy orange peel with sweet dark malts beneath. Decent bitter ending. Full bodied. Foamy palate (31.05.2008).

(Draught at Brewpub Köbenhavn, 26 March 2008) Dark amber colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus (orange peel, grapefruit) and a hint of pine needles. Fruity taste with grapefruit, orange peel, and a nice piney bitterness in the finish. Very nice beer.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear, copper body, with a dense, off-white to beige head. Fruity nose with pine, resin, citrus and some malty sweetness. Sweet start on the flavor, but the sweetness is soon muscled away by the hops, with bitterness, pine and resin. The finish has a nice, resiny bitterness with fruits and citrus. Medium body, maybe a bit sticky. A lovely, hoppy IPA, not extreme in any way. (071006)

(On tap) Slightly hazy, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head. Very fresh citrusy hop aroma. - fat hop oils. Medium body, some light caramel malt and a vague, burned edge. Citrus notes from the aroma hops and a distinct bitterness. 110907

Draft. A hazy dark amber beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet and very hoppy - giving it notes of citrus and grass, but also faint notes of malt and caramel in the background. The flavor is sweet with a spicy hoppy note - probably from the Centenial hops, but also hoppy notes of grass and with faint notes of malt in the back ground, leading to a dry and very bitter finish. I’d like more malt presence.

Sample from tap at the brewpub. Pours slight hazy orange with a light orange head. Grapefruityaroma with a underlying caramel malt note. Caramel malty with distinct bitterhops inbetween, not as grapefruity than expected. Solid bitterness in the finish. Good.
