500ml can. Here we go again, it’s close to summer and everybody should only drink pale, tasteless lager. This brewery already has a tasteless lager as their main product, so what next. You cut the balls of the brew master and then the results would be something like this!!! To be serious this is a very pale pilsner with almost no aroma, the flavor is fresh, weak and a bit metallic. Except for the metallic part, nothing is really wrong with the beer. It’s just so ridiculous boring. Why do some people believe we don’t need to taste the flavors of a beer just because it hot outside? Every damn Norwegian mainstream brewery produces at least one of these during the summer. Ringnes has a whole bunch and they all taste the same.

(Can 50 cl) Slightly hazy pilsener golden with a white, lightly creamy head. Fresh and floral hopping. Medium body with a light malt base and some rather pleasant aroma hops. A dry finish. Fairly decent. 120207

Canned A hazy light yellow beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and light notes of metal. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and light cardboard notes towards the end, which is dry and slightly bitter.

Can. Golden with a large but diminishing, frothy and white head. Aroma and flavor is quite the same, grainy malt and hops. Thin body and some bitterness in the finish. Thirst-quencher, but nothing more. Rating: 3-2-3-2-8-1.8. 060429

Can. A clear, slightly pale golden beer with a dense, white head of moderate size. Sweetish pale malts and some fruityness on the nose. Tropical fruits too. The flavor has a touch of fruits and some bitterness, with a hint of malts in the back. Almost papery on the palate, rather thin. Pleasant bitterness in the end, saving the day. Boring, that’s for sure. 110708

(500 ml can). Very light colour, moderate head. Weak aroma. Hardly any flavour or aftertaste at all, just a hint of bitterness. If it wasn't for the alcohol you might as well drink CB's "crystal clear source water". As if their ordinary pilsener wasn't bland enough...
This "vacation pils" needs to be sent on a looong vacation - on its own. Avoid!
